Ummmmm?.......Where has the time gone?

January, February and now... March! Where has the time gone?
Each year, I have a phrase or a goal I try to achieve. This year, I had a friend create some vinyl lettering for my stairwell wall. It reads:
We Can Do Hard Things
We see this saying everyday when we walk down the stairs. I want to ingrain it into my children's' head! Yes, We can do hard things!
This is what I have been thinking of lately.......
I am busy, busy, busy! From preschool, primary, to home/family life.....I don't sit down
until 8 p.m.! HAAAAAA! I am tired! You would think I should be a skinny Minny....with my hustle and bustling around!
This is what is on my mind.....all the time? Why? Why can't I burn off the weight? I work hard...I wish I could "work my butt off!" Literally! I know stress can cause the metabolism to halt? But, really.....I am tired of being FAT! I have a membership to the gym...and I go in spurts! I think I need to put more attention to my body than I do for preschool, primary and home/family life? I find myself shoving loaded calories into my mouth.....while I do my "things"!
I have done every diet. I stick to it about a month.....loose about fifteen pounds! And, then, "Plop" something happens? Holiday? Sickness? Something ruins the "steady diet"?
One of these days....I am going to get it? And when I do....pat me on the back...and tell me good job! I can do hard things!
As for EASY things.....look at these cute pictures! Preschool class went to Petland and discovered all the pets! Love my job!
This week we are learning about Rainbows!

Remember:
You can do hard things!

I love that saying. I also love the Sister Beck changed it to say, "In the strength of the Lord, I (we) can do hard things."

After the week we've had around here, maybe I should be reciting this :)

P.S.
Jake has missed you!

You are such a happy, "I love life" kind of person! Your radiance outshines your difficulties. I know that keeping our weight in control is important but not THE most important. You are loved by so many and that is because you love so many.

Thanks for the post!! I'm right there with you (in the frustrating weight loss department) - we can cheer eachother on. :)
