"Here comes Santa Clause.....!!!!" Hope he comes to our house!

You gotta love decorating with the family for Christmas! I just let them put the ornaments where ever! I used to care...but they are getting older! We had our 12 year old son let us know what it is really like as we set the tree up! I was raised with a fake tree....Shane was raised with a real tree. I want a fake tree! I always cave in and we buy a real tree each year. As we brought it home...you do the same things each year....cut the trunk....can't find the saw!!! Get the stand out! I struggle while holding the tree erect while my husband is putting it in the stand! Some how we are arguing every year! Dylan brought that to our attention..."Why do you always argue every year you set up the tree?" I said...."That is why I want to buy a fake one!" He was quiet for a minute and asked.."How much are real trees? How much are fake trees?" We told him....and nothing else was said! Shane and I quit arguing and Dylan made is own opinion in his mind? Wonder what he thinks? We will see when he has his own home? But....my husband loves Christmas...and whatever he likes and wants to spend is my gift to him! I learned a lesson not to argue and spoil the Christmas fun!

You gotta love these pictures of my preschool kids. I posted the pictures of the local bloggers kids so you can get a glimpse of what happened when Santa came to visit! My favorite pictures are when the kids did their sing/poem fest! Look how well they are performing! I love to see children enjoy holiday festivities! Smile! So cute!
We hope you all enjoy your holiday! My wish for you...spend time with your kids.....and eat whatever you want! Merry Christmas from our House to Yours!!!!!

What is Happenin' at Da Hatches.....12 das before Christmas!

This is Dylan and Katlyn at their Hoilday Piano Recital with their great piano teacher Andrea. She has been teaching Dylan since he was eight. We are proud of both of them for doing so well! This was Katlyns' first piano recital. As we were driving to the recital, I asked the kids who was nervous? Ofcourse, Dylan was on the verge of throwing up! Katlyn said, "I'm not nervous!, Dylan, relax!!!!" She is so much like my little sister! So easy going! She played great too! Memorized and not a single mistake! I am glad one of my children does not have anxiety like me! I won't speak for Shane! Dylan was the best student! There were at least 15 students! He did awesome! He has a talent and we are making him continue to take lessons! I used to have to bribe him with presents....not anymore.....he finally gets his satisfaction from just knowing how to play! He will be able to play on his mission, for his girlfriends, and just to use as great therapy!
Here are the puppies! They are a month old this week! So cute! We visit them once a week! Sometimes more, if I give into my children! (Secretly, I love to go see them too!) You have to love the Gold one! We are taking home the female black one, the day after Christmas. We will name her Skylee. I hope Bear can tolerate her! We will see how long it will take us to potty train her! My husband reminded me that I will have twice the hair to vaccum up! Yuck! Oh, well.....that is why I have a Dyson! If you want a puppy for Christmas....let me know!

Stop the Hoilday Havoc.....Take time to Reflect!!!!

My Mother
I have been thinking about my mother alot latley! Maybe it is because I have had alot on my plate! She was always doing a million projects, working and having busy calling! (She still is!) Thank you, mother, for all the clothes you folded, all the floors you cleaned, all the tender mommy talks we had, all the food you fixed, all the dresses you made me, all the places you drove me to, all the dance steps you taught me, most of all....how you taught me to work hard! "A job worth doing.....is a job well done!' She always says! I always wondered how she did it all while raising children. Now, that I am a mother....I apprieciate her and all the mothers before her. Thanks Mom!!

Now that I am a mother, somedays I am on my feet from 7a.m. to 9p.m.! I think.....if mom can do it...I can do it, I think I can, I think I can!!!!! It is alot of work! Then I think of the pioneer women making their food and clothing by hand! They had no conviniences! Always working! So, then I think of poligamy....yes.....I would almost like that! I would love to have another women in the house sharing the load. But.......I WOULD NOT SHARE MY HUSBAND! So...maybe a maid? Anyway, Cheers to all the women out there who work hard each day! Raising children, cleaning houses, busy church callings, school volunenterring,......oh, yeah,.......the most important thing.....being a wife! I am constantly reminded by" Dr. Laura " to put him first! So......when do I have time for me! These are my latest releases: I BLOG!!!! This is my new passtime! So....all you bloggers out there! Cheers to you! I love to watch movies, go out with my husband and chat on the phone with my best bud, Ms. Molly! Hang in there, mothers !!!!
My 3 Sweeties
This is what makes the long hours worth it all! This picture is one of my favorites! I love to see my children running and laughing and playing! They are all so unique. Heavenly Father has sent me strong spirits! I feel very blessed to have them. I always wanted to have more....but my physical body does not allow me anymore! I am o.k. with that! I have been blessed! I have the ability to teach and care for others children!

Have a Merry Christmas! Enjoy each fun moment with your family! They grow up too fast!
