True Wuv!!!!

Valentines' Day is getting close....so I thought it would be fun to talk about our "true wuv's"!!! You remember Princess Bride....True Wuv!!! Anyway....to any of you that would like to take these questions and write about your true love, go for it! BUT......Jan Baron and Debi Spurgeon and Amelia Larson and Niki Rimmasch are new to the Blog world....I want you four to respond!!!!

What is his name? Shane William Hatch
How long have you been together? We have been married for 13 years.
How long did you date? We knew each other in the mission field for 1 year. When we got home, we dated for 8 months.
How old is he? He is two years younger that I, 36.
Who eats more? It depends....on what it is? Ha! Mostly him!
Who said I love you first? I did!
Who is taller? He is!
Who can sing better? He can.
Who is smarter? He is!!
Who does the laundry? I do! He carries it up stairs.
Who pays the bills? He does.
Who sleeps in the right side? I do
Who mows the lawn? Both of us do.
Who cooks dinner? Both of us do.
Who drives? Both of us do.
Who is more stubborn? He is!
Who kissed who first? He leaned into the cheek....I turned to his lips for the big juicy one!
Who asked who out first? I did!
Who proposed? He did. February 1994 Manti Temple
Who has more friends? I do.
Who is more sensitive? I am.
Who has more siblings? He does.
Who wears the pants? We both do.

I love him! And, he loves me....we are a happy family! I could've never found such a perfect fit. He knows me the very best!

We both served in the same mission 1991-1993 in "The great Montana Billings Mission." He was my zone leader and I met him on New Years Eve night during transfers. I served in Columbia Falls and he served in Kalispell. It wasn't true love at first sight. I watched him from a distance as any good missionary should! I was really impressed with how obiedient he was and what a great love he had for the people and the work! I fell in love with the "farm" way of life in Montana.....and loved that he was a farm boy from Utah! He always seemed to be in my areas or one of my leaders. After I was released, a month earlier than him, I wrote him an invite to Disneyland! We decided to meet in SLC a couple weeks after he got home, before he ventured down to Cali. So...after the first date it was "true wuv"!!!!

Remember the great things about your "Hubby"!! And as Dr. Laura would say....."Give it to him when he wants IT!!" He will be the happiest man! Ha!!!! Don't blush! It is true!

This movie did it for me!!!!!!

Gerard Butler and his Irish accent! You gotta luv it!
P.S. I Love You!!!!
Lisa Kudrow! I love her! Gives the movie and zaney side!

I love this movie! My friend and I went and saw this on Saturday! I thought nothing can top Juno! This movie to me, topped Juno! (Even though Juno was great and now has been nominated for an award!)

I went to the movie not even knowing the plot? Clean slate for me! I felt every feeling the lead Actress was feeling! She protrayed her part so well!

I laughed out loud and cried out loud! Snorted~~~ Loved it!
Then when I came home, I was reminded how much in love I was with my husband...the little things I take advantage of or don't realize I have it good!
You gotta see this....with hubby or friend!

Enjoy your week! I am!

Talking about letter "u" and Under the sea with all my little friends! So fun!

I am done having a pity party for myself....Thanks for all of you that joined in!

Happy Martin Luther King Day!

Thanks to you all who joined in on my pity party! I am fine now! Things are great! Everything is wonderful.....time to move on! I learned from this experience and can roll with it!

I wanted to tell you how cute my preschool kids were today! I talked about Martin Luther King Jr. to the class. Of course, they had no idea who he was! I was thinking...I do you explain to 4 and 5 year old about diversity? I told them that everyone is a different color! Brown, white, yellow, black! But, we need to all be treated the same! There once was a time when they didn't let certain color of skin in the store, on the bus, .....etc. etc.! They all had a sad look on their face! Like they couldn't believe their ears! Then one little boy looked down at his skin and said "My skin is red!" Innocent! So innocent!

None of us know how they felt before the 60's! I am grateful for these strong spirits that the Lord has sent on the earth today! I am grateful for men, like MLK Jr. for his strength! Let's teach our children, no matter how different we may look from each other, or we may have different beliefs or feelings....we are all children of God!

Happy 3 Day Weekend!

Just think positive thoughts.....positive thoughts......

I have had a crappy couple of days! I wish I could go into detail....but it involves my business! Can't mix business with pleasure! Yeah, I know the day before, I posted a fabulous feel good rendition of my feelings for preschool! I still feel that way! I spoke to early...the next day it happened!!! What hurts the most is when I know I work my "big" butt off, and someone isn't pleased????!!! (A person would think I would be skinny, the amount of time I am on my feet?) I just think...."I can't please everyone"!!! "I am not a people pleaser......Positive thoughts, only!!!! I don't want to be a people pleaser...I am a great person....I Think I can, I think I can!!!!"
So....the only thing I do is switch my thinking.......the first positive thing that comes to my mind was this movie my husband and I saw on Sat. night after dinner!
JUNO!!!!
My new favorite movie! I loved every minute of it! In the begining, I thought....not a good movie! I leaned over to Shane and asked him what rating it is? I was a little concerned! But..as it continued, I feel in love with the main actress! I don't even know her name? She is excellant and witty! She kinda reminded me of the next SNL star?! And ofcourse, my teenage heart throb, Jason Bateman! Jennifer Garner was fabulous also! It is a must see! It is about adoption and love! Made me want to go an adopt! Seriously! (Alicia: You need to see this and give your play by play in Alicia detail!)
So...I am needing to go see "P.S. I love you!" I need another good cry!
Looking forward to the weekend!
A favorite 1940's song of mine:
You gotta......Accenuate the Positive,
Eliminate the Negative,
Latch on to the affirmative,
Don't mix with Mr. Inbetween!
To Illustrate, the last remark....Jonah in the Whale, Noah and the Ark
What did they do?
Just when everything went so wrong?
Accenuate the Positive!!!!!!
Sing it with me!!!!!

Things on my mind lately......

New Challenge......Dylans' finally acting like a pre-teen!

(For those of you who are queasy at the sight of this deer....just imagine it on your back lawn! Sorry!)

Just recently, I have noticed two things about Dylan....

1.Girls are noticing him!!!!

I thought I was seeing things...but there are possible infaxuations happening with my sweet little first born!

2. He is talking back!

Yes, my sweet Dylan has a little naughtiness in him! Which, I am glad..he can't be perfect! I want him to be a little fystie!!! He has always been so good! But, he needs to be sweet to his family members! The Top Ten Things
that keep me Lovin' this job!

Lately I have been soooo busy with new year primary stuff...I needed a little time to reflect on the things that get me out of bed in the morning!

This is in no particular order!

1. I love it when the kids call me "Ms. Kissten" (some can't pronounce their "r's"!)
2. I love it when the kids tell me, "I wuv you, Ms. Kissten!"
3. I love it when they are so quiet during story time! (That means they are really listening!)
4. I love it when they are actually smiling and singing with all their might!
5. I love it when they remember things that I have taught them!
6. I love it when a child finally understands something! Yeah!
7. I love it when a child remembers to be a friend to someone in need.
8. I love it when a child picks up after himself/herself without being told. (Yes, miracles do exist!)
9. I love it when a child cuddles up with a good book, color or cut with such strong endeavors! (i.e. tongue hanging out of the mouth!)
10. I love it when a child dances, yells, runs, laughs...doing it like know one cares!!!
Childhood.......it never ends!!!! I love my job!

Ham Anyone?

Here is the play by play horrible experience I encountered on 9/11/02, you all wanted to hear about! Don't laugh! O.k., o.k., laugh....so does everyone else! Even our insurance lady did! I still have bad dreams! No! But, everytime I smell pig poop I tremble!!!!
I left a YW activity because I was feeling a little nauseous because of pregnancy.....
Imagine yourself on a cold fall dark night, driving the 25 mph limit next to Hog Harris' farm.... Boom.....out of no where was this!
Freakin' 900 pound pig!
Right in front of me!!! I slammed on my breaks and the pig fell over!!!!
Mud and pig yuck plastered the top of the van and my windshield!
I sat there thinking, should I get out of the car?
I was pregnant with Hunter....didn't want to be attacked by the thing!
Should I go tell Hog Harris I slammed his 900 pd. pig to the ground?
NO....I was so sacred the thing would run after me...eat my fetus!!!!!
I turned on my windshield wipers and tried to scrape off the layers of pig poop!
My van smelled like pig poop for a year!
I drove home thinking.....what is Shane gonna say?
I drove up to our home....opened the front door and yelled..."Honey, I hit a pig!!!"
He yelled back..."What? You hit a pig?"
Was this all a dream?
Well, we washed the van.....several times! Never was the same!
We called the insurance lady.....she couldn't believe it! You hit a what? No one has ever hit a pig!
Nothing special about the story....I just slammed this ghost pig! Outa no where....he was there????
Everytime I pass Hog Harris' farm I look at the little piglets saying under my breathe....I could've killed your MAMA!!!!
I don't know whatever happened to that hog of a pig??? Did she die or live?
The moral of the story....Don't leave YW early on Sept. 11th.......or you may incounter a beast!!!
