The Mircales on Camano Drive....The Last Weeks before 2009

I am amazed this past year of all the miracles that occured. My nephew Peter had half of his liver removed in December, which was holding the cancer. The doctors also removed his Gall Bladder while they were at it. He recovered beautifully and came home from the hospital less than a week. That was a miracle! He was able to enjoy Christmas and go in public places.(San Diego Zoo) They removed all of the cancer and the Doctors say he has a 5% chance of it returning. That is a miracle! Unfortunately, he has two more rounds of chemo. The miracle is....chemo is a blessing from Heavenly Father that kills the enemy CANCER! Isn't he cute! Love the bald head! The miracle is my brother and his wife are strong people. The miracle is that they live next to my parents and other loved ones to help. It truly is a miracle!

Now this is a miracle....look at this kid. Yes, it is Dylan. He was to dress for school, according to a decade. He chose the 80's! Ya gotta love the mullet! He borrowed this outfit from his Deacons' qourum advisor. I folded the bottom of his pants, like the good old days. He won the prize for the best dressed! So funny!

The miracle is....We finally had a get together with our dear friends, "The Collins". We played games, ate, watched tv, played "Rock Band" (Molly rocks on the drums!) and brought in the new year...with all of our kids! Really,....... it was fun!

North Carolina Rummy? Anyone?

Christmas Morning! IS truly a miracle! The kids wait, and wait for Santa to come. For some miracle, Santa makes it to Camano Drive and drops a load! We are truly blessed.

Surprise!

Stockings were hung....on a table?

The "Big" present!

Katies' new bike!

Hunter scored!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for all the fun gifts! Even though we are away from family....we are truly blessed for the miracle of our Eternal Family. I love my children and I love my husband, (especially!!!!!) Christmas isn't Christmas without the miracle of Family!
Happy New Year 2009!

Thanks for sharing our miracle on your blog. What a year. Lots of growing and learning.

Love Dylan's mullet. Meagan saw someone at the zoo last week with that same hairdo. So funny. Did you have a wig?

We love you guys. Thanks for all the love & support these last months.

I'm so happy to hear that your cute little nephew is doing so well! Miracles do not cease.

Dylan's 80's outfit is so great! Love the mullet and especially the pegged pants!

Your game night w/the Collins sounds like it was tons of fun. We got together with friends to play games on New Year's Eve with ALL of our kids too. It was so much fun, I hope we make it a tradition!

I'm glad you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Your little nephew is a special little miracle. How lovely that he was able to spend Christmas at home. Truly a blessing.

Love Dylan's get up. I have seen that costume before...on a taller...slightly older gentleman.

Your New Year celebration looked like a blast. Nothings better than ringing in the new year with dear friends and/or family.

Santa was good to you all!

Happy 2009!
