Okay,okay...the busy life that I lead....has abandonded my beloved blog! The only thing that I have been able to post is my take of American Idol! So....today I am making time to post!
I have a theme in my head....We are all creatures of habit! We all have a hard time stirring away from the same ol same old!
*I have been watching these Butterflies that hatched over the weekend, they rest in the same spot, drink the same thing, do the same process of life.....
*Children are the same way.....they love routine....if you stray from it....they freak out! If I change my cirruculmn, my preschool kids have a hard time! Yesterday, I did not make a dessert after dinner! We always have a dessert on Sunday, but we didn't! I had "Great to be Eight" meeting to go to....NO DESSERT!! They were all sooooo hungry! Whaaa! Creature of Habit!
*Primary.....the Stake asked the leaders not to leave early from sacrement meeting! So we have asked the junior primary to line up out in the hallway! We have done it twice! My sweet kids don't like change! I don't blame them! It is way too crowded! I am going to sneak out because I have to go potty.....no one can stop me! I want these children to feel comfortable and safe and .......they want ROUTINE!!! I think we may have a solution....the ward previous tidies up the chairs! So, I am going to let them sit down instead of waiting in the hallway!

Exploding Boxes!!!

WE missed those that didn't attend this fun girls' project! We had so much fun! These boxes weren't as hard as they look! Thanks to Terlyn(the project guruu)for her patience and creativty, we completed them in a couple hours accompanied with several handfuls of peanutbutter M&Ms and laughs!!! Thanks ladies for coming!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!!!

What every happened to respect these days? I am always so shocked when I am helping children and they turn around and smart mouth to me! I was helping in Katlyns' class a couple weeks ago and I politely told a sweet girl to put her pencil and books away (after her teacher repeatedly told the students)and get ready to go home! She turned around and said "I don't have to! You are not my teacher!" And then gave me that nasty glare! I was steaming!!! I then said..."I am a helper and I will not be spoken to that way!" Are children learning this from TV? Are they learning it from their parents, who in turn talk to thier children that way? Older siblings? I am so concerned and frustruated! I have caught my own children being sassy to me and other adults and I will not put up with it! "Let us all speak kind words to each other....at home or where're we may be!"

When ever Spring comes to past I am thinking of "The Diet"

I love to eat! I eat when I am happy and sad! So, I eat just because it feels good! I love food! But, I look in the mirror and say, "Who are you?" Where is that cute size 12 you used to be 13 years ago? So, I am attempting "The Diet" again! This is a different program....one out of the million I haven't been on! I will let you know if it works! But, I am hungry, hungry, hungry, hungry! And, want to eat a burger and fries!

We had a nice family "adventure"(as my husband calls them) on Friday. I didn't want to go! I wanted to stay home and work as usual! (I am a workaholic) So we packed a picnic and got the fishing poles outa the garage and drove to Fish Hook! I went, just to go with the fam! But, as I got out of the truck and smelt the fresh air, saw the green grass pokin' through the winter ground.....and saw how excited my kids were.....I was glad that my husband sees the importance of getting out in nature! We had fun going on a hike next to the railroad tracks to get to the pond! We all enjoyed each others company! And that is what we are suppose to do....besides work all the time!

Hunter and his first catch of the year! Fish Hook Pond(which was just stocked last week) Hunter was the only one to catch these little critters! He was so proud and used just a worm!!
