I think Amanda has a very unique gift in her style. She is a sound from the past for me. I can handle her style. It is just not what I am after this year. She has come out of her little no personality these last 2 weeks which has seemed to soften her up a bit while watching her. I think she will need to keep that up. I like the fact that she does bring something different each week instead of the same ole same ole.
What about the eggs?
I'm not a big fan. I agreed with Simon the other night, I couldn't understand anything she said. I don't hate her style, but it's not my fav.
I'm on the fence with her... I have really liked her the last two weeks but I couldn't believe she made it that far in the first place. i really don't mind her style and she seems to be cleaning up her sound a little each week so . It will be interesting to see what happens w/ her.
Bill and I can't stand her. Yes she is talented and can sing, but her voice is so grating, it's like listening to nails in a blender. Sooo not our style. She is the first contestant we have ever skipped over every single performance...and we've watched every season. And when Simon said he couldn't understand a word she said, I wanted to say, "Uh, hasn't that always been the case?"
And I'm confused, didn't you just say you loved her?
Nails in blender is a good description Alicia. I don't like her because I think that no matter what song she sings, she sounds exactly the same, plus I really just don't care for her voice in general. I think if she had an album, every song would have that same yelling, wanna be Janis Joplin feel to it.
Just my opinion though...

I just like to get everyones opinion! I love that we all can do that too! You don't hurt my feelings! Tiffani...her album would be the same! But, she is a rocker and different!
I can't stand her voice or anyone's voice that sounds like screaming. I enjoy it when singers can carry a melody...and she can not. She can only scream and yell. NOT my cup of tea...although, I do realize that many people enjoy...screaming.
She sounds like she's constipated when she sings. It's like she's trying so hard to push out the sound that she comes across as straining! And angry! Not my style either! I don't think she'll last much longer. After Kristi and Syesha are gone, I think she's next.
